I am a second semester senior. That is nerve racking...there are so many options and paths that I can take. I can turn my back on God easily, I could go do what I want to do and what the devil tempts me to do, so so easy. what am I to do? What does God have planned for me? An what path do I want to take?
Well I am certainly NOT going to turn my back on God! That is a absolute no...I have swayed away from him, that is true. But my heart still yearns for him! An its growing closer and closer as the days grow on. Especially with what he has planned for me! Why did he choose me for such a huge continent?!! Kenya, Africa. Oh my let me tell you! I have been on a roller-coaster that past year with the thought of Kenya. When? How? With whom? Its here and its got my eyes wide open!
I am going to Kenya, Africa on July 14th - 29th. Fifteen days with a group of people I have NEVER met in before, no best friends, no phone, no boyfriend or family. Just me, my fellow missionaries, and a orphanage full of kids. They don't know the joyous love of God that I see...no! But just wait, he is gonna come crashing down on there lives like a tsunami on a small island. I cant wait!
This whole trip is a total God given situation....Fifteen days for $4,000?! That's unheard of! I admit I was kind of freaked out about the price at first...but with saving money from my pay check, to garage sales, selling some clothes, bake sales at church and donation's I'll make it! It's all in God's hands and he definitely wants me on this trip! Well that's all for now...COMMENT PLEASE! I will update soon
